Two 1.5g diamond infused prerolls for $5.99 on sale from $11.99, so two dollars a gram, and that number does a lot of work. Six strains; the Cherry Runtz is faint on the cherry rather than candied, and once one is burning properly the smoke is smooth and the hit is real. The trouble is getting there.

Across the line they're packed tight, and they like to canoe, so you spend the first minute babysitting a two-dollar joint. Or at least with the ones we tried.

Some run mild for a diamond roll, but while the page doesn't state a THCA percentage, an infused product is the one number you want. Basically a cheap way to find out if you like diamond rolls.

7. Bay Smokes Mini THCa Prerolls, Best Cheap Minis

Two half-gram minis for $9.99, ten dollars a gram, a lot for the smallest roll here. What you get is a clean little smoke: indoor and light-dep flower ground fine, a smooth pull and a mellow high that suits a drive or a walk more than a couch. Blue Cherry Gelato is listed at 22.4% THCA.

The gripes are what you'd guess from the size: they smoke small and quiet if your tolerance is up, the grind can go to dust, the filter on some is rolled too tight to pull through, and the odd pack arrives dry. Order before you're out; the brand's full-size 1g rolls were sold out across all six strains when this was written.

6. Bloomz THCA Pre-Rolls, Best Value Multi-Pack

Straight indoor flower in 1g cones, three for $30.99 or six for $59.99 with a seventh thrown in, $8.57 a gram on the bigger pack. Strain matters because the numbers swing: Gelato 27% THCA, Grape Jelly Donut 32%, Guava Cookies 23%.

The high is the relaxing kind, the flower smells right out of the pack, and most smoke smooth. The roll is where it slips: a few come loose and shed, and the paper runs quite too hot for us and catches the throat. If you go through a lot of prerolls and don't need infusion, seven for $60 is hard to argue with. Twelve states excluded from shipping; California isn't one.

5. Coast THCA Mini Prerolls, Best Minis

Five half-gram minis in a jar for $19.99, eight dollars a gram, and the difference from other minis is the outside: indoor California flower rolled in kief with THCA diamonds, about 22 to 24% THCA by strain. They burn straight and hit harder than a half gram has any right to.

Two 1g rolls for $15, $7.50 a gram, machine-rolled on RollPros gear from indoor smalls and mediums with no shake or trim, and you can tell. White ash, an even burn, an open draw, and terps you can taste instead of paper. Six of seven strains in stock. The high is clean flower, which is the point.

Two knocks: the page lists a "Type 1" tag instead of a THCA percentage, so you're trusting the COA rather than the listing, and a few rolls across the line burn uneven or arrive bent. If you want flower-only and don't want to fight the joint, this is the one.

3. Coast Exotic THCA Diamond Infused Preroll, Best Diamond Infused for the Money

Coast's Exotic THCA Diamond Infused Preroll is a 1g preroll infused with THCA diamonds, dusted in kief and capped with a diamond tip, for $9.99. Three strains: Morning Dew, the sativa, 21.52% THCA, for daylight and creative work; Afternoon Delight, the hybrid, 21.93%, relaxed without wiping you out; Midnight Rider, the indica, 25.72%, a heavy, lights-out roll.

2. Exhale Wellness THCA Diamond Infused Pre Roll, Strongest Single Roll

Exhale's Gelato is 0.7g of flower listed at 36% THCA plus 0.3g of THCA diamonds in one 1g roll, and the brand puts the finished joint at 58%. Whatever the exact number, it smokes like it: a strong, creeping, night-cap high, and you don't need much of it.

It burns well, arrives fresh and well packed, and tastes earthy and smooth rather than sharp. It's $14 for one gram, the priciest roll here, and it's out of stock or on backorder often enough to be annoying. The bigger problem for us: Exhale doesn't ship to California. If you're elsewhere and want the heaviest single roll on this list, this is it.

Two grams for $14.99 and the only roll here with a core of solventless hash down the center, plus live resin and THCA diamonds, in milled indoor California flower with a ceramic tip. Sativa tests 26.84%, Hybrid 25.69%, Indica 25.54%. Light it slow, pull short, and it burns for a thirty-minute sit while the hash melts and leaves the hole in the ash that gives it the name.

The smoke is heavy and sweet like hash, smoother than a diamond roll, and the high is a different weight class from a flower joint; a few pulls at night and put it down is a real way to smoke one. At $7.50 a gram it costs about half the Exhale roll for twice the weight and a core the others don't have. The best preroll on this list, and it isn't close.

How to Pick a THCA Preroll

Most of this comes down to what you want out of the joint. A quick head change on a walk is a mini. A long night with friends is a hash hole. A flower purist wants nothing added. All fair. What we weigh, in order, is value per price point, indoor flower, and clean processing.

Value means what's in the roll for the money, which is why a 2g hash hole at $14.99 outranks a 1g diamond roll at $14. Indoor flower is simply different: light, temperature and humidity are controlled the whole grow, so the flower is consistent jar to jar and burns even, which matters more in a preroll than in a bag. Clean processing means the label says what's inside, the lab report matches the batch, and nothing is sprayed on to hit a number.
